As the new growing season approaches you can stock up on a variety of essentials without leaving the allotment site.
The large container will be manned for the next four Saturdays (March 10, 17, 24 and 31) from 10am to 11am to allow members to buy goods at very competitive prices.
Items on sale are: 1.5m wide fleece at 20p per metre; Growmore at £1 per kg; garden lime at £1.50 per 2kg; chicken pellets at £9 per 20kg bag; blood, fish and bone at £1 per kg; 8ft bamboo canes at 40p each.
All proceeds go to the association’s funds.

Just a reminder that the big container will be manned tomorrow morning (Saturday) from 10am to noon for the sale of fleece, Growmore, chicken pellets, etc (Roll up for some fleece).
The environment group, Deal With It, is holding one of its regular Seedy Saturday seed and plant swaps on Saturday at the Landmark Centre. Full details here.
Fleece is the latest addition to the range of goods being sold by the committee. It is 1.5m wide and costs 20p per metre. It is available only in multiples of one metre.
It can be bought at the large container which will be manned this Saturday (February 17) and on Saturday week (February 24) from 10am to noon.
Garden lime, Growmore, chicken pellets and bamboo canes are also available (Super Savings).
This net tunnel is on offer free of charge. It has been dismantled ready for collection from Plot 50 (Allotment plot map).

They can be bought at the large container this weekend – on Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
If you haven’t been able to pick up your seed potatoes yet there will be a few more chances in the coming week.
They will be available for collection at the large container by the barbecue area on Wednesday (January 17) from 10am to noon, on Saturday (January 20) from 10am to 2pm and on Sunday (January 21) from 10am to 2pm.
Please bring full payment with you if you have not already paid for them.
