Vanessa Blackman (plot 12) is offering two old plastic water tanks both with drainage holes, a water butt which is sound but needs a new tap, and a container which could be used to store liquid.

Please help yourself to any of these items.

Plant sale

Denis Vickers, who is the judge at our allotment competitions every year, will be holding his usual charity plant sale this month but with a different format.

The Covid-19 restrictions mean that his sale, which raises money for the Air Ambulance, cannot be open to visitors this year,

Instead, people are invited to make their selection of fruit, vegetable, herbs and other plants from these lists:  plants1, plants2

Once you have decided what you want to buy, please email your choice to terryjanjohnson@aol.com, pearlygran@yahoo.co.uk or tonyfursland@icloud.com

They will co-ordinate the orders from plotholders, check availability, then collect the plants  from Denis’s home in Woodnesborough, thereby minimising the number of journeys that have to be made.

They will then let you know how much money you owe for the plants and how to make payment.

Denis is planning  to have the plants ready for collection from Friday, April 24.

Please get your orders in to Terry, Tony or Pearl by 6pm on Wednesday, April 22.
