Urgent spud appeal

Everyone who ordered seed potatoes from Terry Johnson is urged to pick them up as soon as possible.

You can collect them from Terry (Plot 18) or Ron (Plot22b).

You must pay for your seed potatoes when you collect them.

Come and get your spuds

If you ordered seed potatoes from Terry Johnson you’ll be pleased to know that they are now ready for collection.

Please see either Terry (plot 18 ), or Ron (plot 22b) to get them but remember that you must pay on collection. The potatoes are £1.20  per kg and come in 2kg bags.

Join us for dinner

The allotment society’s annual dinner will be held in the Royal Marines Social Club, The Strand, on Thursday, February 27 at 7pm.

The menu is:

Starters

Prawn cocktail

Tomato soup

Mushroom soup

Duck and orange pâté

Mains

Roast dinner with choice of meats

Fish in sauce

Vegetarian option

Dessert

Mixed berry cheesecake

Apple crumble with custard or cream

Fruit salad

To finish 

Coffee and mints.

The cost is £20 per person, payable by February 20.
