All plotholders and their families are invited to the association’s annual barbecue and competitions which will take place on Sunday, July 1 from 1pm.
There will also be a raffle during the afternoon – donations of prizes would be welcome. Just bring them along on the day.
As usual, the competition categories are: best full plot; best half plot; largest root of potato; longest stick of rhubarb; Sunday lunch (two each of five different vegetables on a plate including potato); largest strawberry; bunch of flowers; funniest/largest vegetable.
The entry fee is £2.
The entry form can be found here (COMPETITION 2018 ). Please give your completed form and entry fee to any committee member. Some printed forms will be available by the shed in the main car park for members who do not have their own printer.
Judging of the best plots and half plots will take place on the evening of Tuesday, June 26. Other categories will be judged on the day of the barbecue.
The closing date for the plot categories is Friday, June 22.
