The clocks change to British Summer Time tonight which means that the earliest time you can start a bonfire at the allotments will be 4pm.
But if you’ve got anything you want to burn you’d better get on with it as the allotment rules say bonfires are not allowed at all from April 1 to September 30.
The first working party of 2018 will take place on Saturday, March 24. Committee members plan to work on repairs to the road. If you can spare an hour or two, your help would be gratefully received. Meet at 10am in the main car park.
