Help is needed at the site on Wednesday to put up a new marquee ready for the visit by the Brownies and Rainbows in the afternoon.
If you are able to help please meet by the large container at 10am.
The annual barbecue and competitions will take place this year on Sunday, August 6, a couple of weeks later than in previous years to avoid any clash with Regatta Week events.
All plot holders and their families are welcome.
As usual the competition categories are: best full plot; best half plot; largest root of potato; longest stick of rhubarb; Sunday lunch (two each of five different vegetables on a plate including potato); largest strawberry; bunch of flowers; funniest/largest vegetable.
The entry fee is £2.
The entry form can be found here (Competition entry form2). Please give your completed form and entry fee to any committee member. Some printed forms will be available by the shed in the main car park for members who do not have their own printer.
Judging of the plots will take place on Tuesday, July 25 from 6pm. Other categories will be judged on the day.
The closing date for the plot categories is Tuesday, July 11.
A group of Brownies and Rainbows will be visiting the site on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 28.
