Do you need to stock up on gardening equipment before we get too far into the new growing season?
Cropwatch Horticulture of Dover is holding an open evening next month where you will be able to buy tools, equipment, fertiliser, pots, seed trays and a range of growing products.
The event takes place at Martin’s Nursery, Poison Cross, Statenborough Lane, Eastry, CT13 0DL, on Monday, March 27 from 6pm to 8pm.
A 6ft by 8ft greenhouse (with two or three panes of glass broken) and a large compost bin are both on offer free of charge. The owner will help dismantle the greenhouse.
There is some urgency about removal so don’t delay! If you are interested ring 01304 366107.
The committee holds its next meeting on Monday, February 13. If there is anything you would like members to discuss please email the secretary at pearlygran@yahoo.co.uk
